Mobile Services for Veterinary Care in the Comfort of your Home
Sometimes bringing your pet to the clinic isn't practical or comfortable for them. Whether you have multiple pets, a large or anxious companion, or a senior pet who moves a little slower these days, our house call service brings compassionate veterinary care right to your door.
While many wellness needs and some medical concerns can be addressed at home, certain situations may still require a hospital visit. Our team will help determine if a house call is the best fit for your pet's needs.
Mobile services include:
- Comprehensive physical exam, including annual wellness exams
- Preventative Care, including vaccination and parasite prevention
- Sample collection for routine labwork and complete diagnostic testing
- Microchipping
- Diagnosis and treatment of common conditions, including skin & ear infections, gastrointestinal issues, lameness and mobility concerns
- Allergy consultation and management
- Behavioral assessment and counseling
- Surgical consultation
- Monitoring and treatment of chronic conditions
- Pain management
- Quality of life assessment and compassionate end-of-life care
Our in-home veterinary visits include a travel fee of $156 for locations within a 5-mile radius of our hospital. All other fees for house call appointments - including the examination fee - are the same as our in-hospital rates. We regularly serve the communities of Solana Beach, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Fairbanks Ranch, Carmel Valley, Cardiff, Encinitas, Leucadia and Olivenhain. In some cases, we may be able to travel beyond this area. Because of the additional time and resources required, an extended travel fee will apply for visits outside our standard service radius.
